Honesty, Integrity & Independent Repair Mastery
Founded by Mitch Kramer, FiXCO was built on a simple conviction: Bellingham deserves an honest electronics repair shop that puts people ahead of profit.
From Humble Beginnings to Bellingham's Go-To Tech Bench
FiXCO was founded on August 1, 2012 by Mitch Kramer. Over the last 14 years, our downtown lab has grown into Whatcom County’s premier destination for smartphone, Apple MacBook, PC, and micro-component repairs.
We understand that modern electronics are essential lifelines—for running your business, connecting with loved ones, and managing daily responsibilities. When your device breaks, life comes to an abrupt halt. Tech companies often tell you that a slightly cracked screen or dead battery means you need to spend $1,200 on a brand new replacement. We disagree.
Our number one priority is diagnosing what is actually wrong, explaining the options in clear plain English, and providing a dependable repair at a fair price. If a repair is not cost-effective or does not make sense for you, we will honestly tell you so.

Downtown Bellingham Community Recognition
2024 Bellingham Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Finalist
“In my memory, no one business has received the number of community nominations as FIXCO did this year. More significantly than the number of nominations was that many of them provided recommendations and stories as to why they submitted their nomination. It is inspiring to see so many go out of their way to support a business and take the time to provide such compliments. Congratulations on being selected as one of our 2024 Small Business of the Year Finalists.”

Bellingham Resident • Right to Repair Advocate
Mitch started FiXCO in 2012 after noticing how big box stores and authorized dealers routinely pushed consumers into buying replacements rather than fixing repairable faults. In 2017, Mitch met with Washington State Legislative Rep Jeff Morris to author the state's very first Right to Repair bill.
